Toys
One of the most sensitive fields of the plastics world are toys. After all, the safety and health of children has to be ensured here. Toys must be safe, their flammability has to be controlled and they must not give rise to health hazards. Standards try to eliminate cancerogenic substances from these products.
Environmental protection
Goods made of plastics are manufactured day by day. But what happens with them after they have been used and are discarded? These aspects, such as product life, degradability and recycling, gain importance in standardisation.
Packaging
What is true for toys is equally important for packaging materials: degradability and tailored recipes for packaging - depending on the contents.
