The traditional, family-run company Staud's has been making jam and preserves in the centre of Vienna since imperial times.

In Staud's In Staud's production plant in Vienna, multiple generations have produced preserves, compotes and cordials over the years. The sour product range is produced in Stegersbach in the south of Burgenland. The complete product range of the traditional, family-run company encompasses 220 different products.

A revenue increase of 8% is expected for the current financial year. In 2007 revenues totalled EUR 6.4 million. The lion's share of revenues is generated by preserves and jams with 45% (including jellies and chutneys), followed by pickled vegetables (38%) and compotes (9%). Fruit cordials and fruits in alcohol each account for 4% of revenues. 40% of production is exported.

Famous clients include the St. Regis Hotel in New York and the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. The most important export countries include Germany, Switzerland, Japan, the USA and Italy.
