Europe’s largest internationally-active window producer, the traditional Upper-Austrian company Internorm , can look back on a successful year in 2008. The Traun-based company was founded in 1931 and last year saw revenue increase by an impressive 14% to EUR 260 million.

Last year 1750 staff produced 895,000 window units at three Austrian production sites. The company’s main growth driver is exports, which generate 52% of business. Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Great Britain represent the most important export markets. To date, a total of 16.6 million window units have been sold across Europe.
