Visit to Austriamicrosystems Phil Inc

The Commercial Attache, Isabel Schmiedbauer, and Commercial Officer, Maricon Popanes-Lim of the Austrian Embassy - Commercial Section visited the faciltiies and operation plant of Austrianmicrosystems Phil Inc in Laguna last 17th of January 2012.

Austriamicrosystems Phils Inc, a subsidiary of Austriamicrosystems Ag in Austria, started its operation in the Philippines in May 2006. Employing 170 engineers and operators, the company is one of Austriamicrosystems Ag's testing facilities for its analog solutions and products. The Philippine subsidiary is currently preparing for its expansion, which inauguration is slated sometime in February 2012, to cover wafer sorts and die sales.
