Exports of Darbo grow in 2009
Even in 2009 the sales of the family enterprise Darbo increased by 2.9 percent with a current sales volume of 102.65 million Euros.
The export of fruit and honey processing grew about 4.77 % to 40,67 million Euros, strongest in Germany, the most important foreign market (+ 25.8 %), followed by Italy, Russia, China and the USA.
Darbo, whose premises are located at the heart of Austria's Alpine region, relies on more than 100 years of experience in fruit and honey processing. Darbo is the undisputed market leader of the Austrian preserve and honey market.
At 40% of total business activities, the export of preserve and honey specialities contributes significantly to the continued growth of the company.
