Austrian Exports 2009 take off
Austrian exports to Saudi Arabia on a steep climb
Preliminary figures show that Austrian exports to Saudi Arabia reached an all-time high to nearly half a billion Euro. An already strong 2008 has been topped by an increase of another 12,6% in 2009. While world-wide exports declined significantly and exports to other GCC countries tumbled by 30% and more, the trade flow of Austrian products to Saudi Arabia remained strong as ever.
Pharmaceutical products, vehicles, iron & steel and products thereof were the biggest contributors to those excellent figures.
