"I could eat Recheis every day!" is the motto from the traditional Tyrolean pasta manufacturer Recheis. The product range includes classic spaghetti as well as Austrian delicacies such as Schlutzkrapfen.

1846, the year that company founder Josef Recheis was born, is when the success story of the family-run company  Recheis from Hall (Tyrol) began. Recheis founded the “first pasta manufacturer in Austria” in 1889 and then in 1917 the company was honoured by becoming an imperial K&K supplier. Today two production sites with 100 staff produce up to 110 tonnes of pasta a day (spaghetti, fleckerl (similar to farfalle) and gomiti). Since 2004, Recheis also makes fresh pasta products such as tortelloni and Schlutzkrapfen, a traditional Austrian type of ravioli.

In addition to established product ranges like “Goldmarke”, an organic range has recently been introduced (“Bio Goldmarke” and “Bewusst mit Genuss”). Only certified, free-range, organic eggs and organically-farmed durum wheat are used in these ranges.

Revenues of EUR 25 m were generated in 2007 and are expected to reach EUR 30 m in 2008. Recheis holds 35% market share in Austria. 10% of production is exported and this share is on the rise.
