The Scandinavian gender concept successful in Austria

Eighty percent of all leaders in the H & M Group in Austria are women. When asked how the group succeeded so well with equality, Claudia Oszwald, head of the H & M in Austria and mother of four children, answers that the gender issue simply is a matter of course for all employees at H & M and must be integrated into the daily work. Therefore, the Group has successfully implemented the Scandinavian equality idea.
- It is an everyday issue that women in leadership positions have to stay home with sick children. Therefore it is important that the workplace is adaptable and flexible.

The H & M Group in Austria recently received two important prizes within business life: "Best Employers in Austria 2015" and "Best Employers in work on gender equality between women and men."
