Ernst Kirchsteigers wine gets good reviews

In recent years the market has been literally flooded by so-called celebrity wines. Celebrities like Tina Nordström or Per Gessle have lent their names to winery - with mixed results. Ernst Kirchsteigers wine from the vineyard Leth in Austria, however, has gotten consistently good reviews.

Ernst Kirchsteigers interest in his Austrian roots has resulted in a special collaboration with Franz Leth and his winery Wagram in Lower Austria. Leth's bestseller "Leth Grüner Veltliner" which came onto the market in 2006 quickly became a bestseller, not least in Sweden, which is the other major exporting country after Germany. Grüner Veltliner must probably be said to be Austria's national grape, closely followed by Riesling. Ernst Kirchsteiger was always careful in choosing the right quality of wine, which resulted in good reviews and good sales figures. According to a list from SVD Enterprise, Ernst Kirchsteiger wines are on the seventh place with 32,742 liters of wine sold. The list is topped by the chef and actor Per Morberg. However, his wines have not at all received as good reviews as Ernst Kirchsteiger’s.
