The Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy in Ukraine invites Ukrainian companies and institutions to participate in the AUSTRIAN-UKRAINIAN BUSINESS FORUM, organized on the occasion of the visit to Ukraine of the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer on July 7, 2009.  

The program will include the following sections:

14:00 – 16:30
Presentations and reports on topical issues of bilateral economic cooperation: the investment climate in Ukraine, currency risk management, tax optimization, customs procedures, etc.

17:00 – 18:00
Welcoming address by the President of Austria Heinz Fischer, the Minister of Economy of Austria Reinhold Mitterlehner and representatives of Ukrainian authorities

18:15 – 19:15
Presentations and experience sharing of leading Austrian companies working in Ukraine

19:30 – 21:00
Reception

About 30 Austrian companies, interested in establishing cooperation with Ukrainian business circles, will take part in the Forum. The Austrian delegation will be represented by companies working in such fields as development and infrastructure, communication and information solutions, pharmaceutics, pulp and paper industry, publishing, consulting, marketing and PR, import-export activities, logistics etc. The Forum program foresees individual negotiations between Austrian and Ukrainian companies.

The working languages of the Forum: German and Ukrainian (simultaneous interpreting). PARTICIPATION IS FREE OF CHARGE, prior application is necessary. Deadline for application is June 30, 2009.
