ABA-Invest in Austria came out as Number 1 investment promotion agency in the world
The Global Investment Promotion Benchmarking 2009 report of the World Bank Group ranked ABA-Invest in Austria as the top global performer among 181 investment promotion intermediaries.
The benchmarking study carried out by independent experts assessed the response of these agencies to two simulated investment projects – a software developer and a beverage manufacturing company – as well as the quality of their Web sites.
Austria’s investment promotion agency ABA-Invest in Austria was ranked number one worldwide in this global study, followed by Sweden, Germany, Canada, Great Britain and France. “Austria performed outstandingly because the staff of ABA-Invest in Austria excellently handled inquiries submitted by investors, and also paid special attention to detail,” according to Karin Millett, head of the FIAS Investment Generation Vienna Office.
ABA-Invest in Austria is the national investment promotion company owned by the Austrian Ministry of Economic Affairs. It provides professional consulting services to potential investors free of charge, supporting companies in selecting a business location, with labor and tax issues, identifying cooperation partners and dealing with authorities.
