The JOANNEUM RESEARCH HEALTH - Institute for Biomedicine and Health Sciences acts as an interface between basic medical research and industrial applications. Scientific services are provided in the fields of:

• PK - pharmacokinetics/skin penetration of your substances
• PD - pharmacodynamics/local effect of your substances
• BA-BE - bioavailability-bioequivalence of new formulations

Measurements are made of active pharmaceutical substances or endogenous substances (e.g. biomarkers) in vivo in the skin, brain and subcutaneous fat tissue. In preclinical and clinical tests, measurements are made with a minimally invasive and continuous method - without limitations as to the size of the substance or its lipophilicity.
