ViruSure is a global service provider for the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industry. The focus of our service portfolio is pathogen safety testing. This includes testing for virus and prion contamination as well as cell line characterization requested by the responsible authorities worldwide prior to initiation of clinical trials in humans.

ViruSure is involved in the testing and release of human and animal products including vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, human plasma and blood products and gene therapy products. We also perform tumorigenicity and oncogenicity tests as well as bio-distribution studies.

There are strict regulatory requirements which have to be fulfilled and which are specified and under constant revision by organizations like FDA, WHO, EMEA (EU), PEI (Germany) etc. All these services are performed either under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
