Technologies for Future Vehicles
The Austrian Trade Commission Chicago in cooperation with the Austrian Trade Commission Toronto is currently in the process of organizing a Trade Mission to the Detroit and Toronto region with a focus on automotive suppliers, manufacturers, and research centers which are focusing on future drive train and lower emission technology.
The four day program will begin on Sunday, October 4, 2008 with a welcome reception in Detroit. Monday and Tuesday will follow with company visits (Visits are being planned for AVL, General Motors, University of Michigan Automotive Research Center, and more) in addition, interesting briefings from important automotive experts as are also being planned.
On Tuesday evening, the group will travel to Toronto where the Austrian Trade Commission in Toronto is organizing company visits as well.
The program will officially end on Thursday, October 8th. Return flights to Austria or other destinations may be scheduled for Thursday evening or Friday.
