Graz company Solid to build the largest solar cooling system worldwide for Desert Mountain High School

Austrian company Solid was assigned to build new solar heating and cooling systems for a school, a hotel and seven prisons in Arizona. The contract volume totals more than 25 million US-Dollars (17,34 million Euro).

Solid, together with partner-company Oekotech, will build the largest cooling system ever realized for the Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, which has more than 2.000 students. Air Conditioning and warm water at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Phoenix will soon also be provided by solar power of Austrian origin. Solid also won a bidding by the state of Arizona on building solar power systems for seven prisons.
