Red Bull has been giving wings for more than 25 years

The success is still continuing  

In 2012 Red Bull sold 5.2 billion cans worldwide. This represents an increase of 12.8% in comparison to 2011. Red Bull had two famous high lights in 2012, the winning of the constructors and drivers Formula 1, the third time in a row, and the hugely successful Red Bull Stratos – Felix Baumgartner’s mission to the edge of space.

Reasons for the amazing development are the outstanding sales generated for example in South Africa with a plus of 52%, closely followed by Japan with a plus of 51%, and Saudi-Arabia (+38 %).

Red Bull will mainly focus on the core markets Western Europe and the United States as well as on the emerging markets Brazil, Japan, India, and South Korea. Furthermore a world-wide introduction of the so-called Red Bull Editions, consisting of flavors like cranberry, blueberries and lime, is planned. Growth and investment will be financed from the operating cash flow.

As of the end of 2012, Red Bull employed 8,966 people in 165 countries.
