ISWA study tour will go to Austria, Germany and Italy

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA would like to draw your attention to an outstanding opportunity to deepen your knowledge on “Waste to Energy” by welcoming you participate in the study tour WASTE TO ENERGY in Austria, 24th – 28th June 2013 - organized by the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).

Continuing on from a series of very successful advanced training courses and the internationall outstanding success of the ISWA Study Tour in 2011 and 2012, the International Solid Waste Association is now organizing the third Study Tour on Waste-to-Energy from 24 to 28 June 2013.

The ISWA Study Tour will take you through the beautiful Alpes from Bolzano in Italy through Tyrol to Bavaria, Salzburg and Upper Austria. You will see and learn about the most remarkable technologies and installations for Waste-to-Energy based on BAT, Best Available Technology, in Europe.

This Practical Seminar on Sustainable Waste Management focuses on advanced Resource and Energy Efficiency, Recovery, Treatment, and safe Intermediate Storage of wastes - which allows for diversion of all organic waste exceeding 5 % TOC from landfill.

The registration fee includes accommodation, meals and transportation for all visits mentioned in the programme.

• 1 person, Non-Member € 2,790 (approx. US$ 3,700 / CAN$ 3,600 / GB£ 2,200)

Registration Fee (Registration or Payment after March 31, 2013)*:
• 1 person, ISWA Member € 2,600 (approx. US$ 3,400 / CAN$ 3,400 / GB£ 2,100)
• 1 person, Non-Member € 2,990 (approx. US$ 3,900 / CAN$ 3,900 / GB£ 2,400)

All stated amounts are free of VAT. Registration fee includes accommodation with breakfast from June 23 to 28, 2013 (Seminar Hotel Sailer in Innsbruck, Tyrol, Seminar Hotel Aichinger in Nussdorf, Upper Austria), handouts, refreshments, lunch and dinner, transportation and visits to the waste treatment plants. Upon registration seminar participants accept all accommodation arrangements organised by ISWA. The number of participants will be limited to a maximum of 25 persons due to the nature of the program.
