Report Lists World's Best Cities to Live

Vienna has been named the world’s second most liveable city with 97.4 out of a possible 100 points, according to The Economist’s Liveability Ranking Report August 2011. Vienna scored a perfect 100 in the categories of healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Only Melbourne, Australia managed to outdo Austria’s capital city in capturing first place with 97.5 points. According to the Economist, “The concept of liveability is simple: it assesses which locations around the world provide the best or the worst living conditions.”
