RUBBLE MASTER: on-site construction waste recycling and natural stone processing

26. May 2017

These Austrian-made mobile crushers process construction waste and natural stone on site. They have been used to help build roads in Nepal, mine copper in Chile, and gold in Australia.

RUBBLE MASTER was founded in 1991 to manufacture machinery that could prepare construction waste for processing directly on building sites. This leading Upper Austrian company has never lost sight of its core business – the design, manufacture, marketing and servicing of compact mobile crushers – and its unwavering strategy has made it the global market leader. A RUBBLE MASTER mobile crusher can reduce an impressive 350 tons of demolition waste to tiny pieces in the space of just one hour, allowing the material to be reused straight away.

RUBBLE MASTER and its compact crushers are extremely well-positioned on the mobile waste-processing market, and the company achieved a particularly notable rise in sales over the last twelve months. In fact, 2016 has proved to be the most successful year in the firm’s history, with turnover climbing by more than 30% to some EUR 63 million. More than 2,300 RUBBLE MASTER compact crushers are now in use all round the world.

Sales are due to hit EUR 72 million this year, with 230 crushers and the same number of screen units expected to leave the production line. Thanks to the firm’s 70 distribution partners, RUBBLE MASTER mobile impact crushers are in use all over the world, and exports account for some 96% of the company’s business.

The majority of RUBBLE MASTER’s crushers are sold on its core European market, but a quarter of all sales are now made in North and South America, where there is still considerable potential for further growth. The company is also enjoying success in Eastern Europe and Russia, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia.
