Human Dynamics-led consortium awarded contract

5. May 2014

An international consortium led by Human Dynamics has been awarded the contract to supply project management consultancy and technical assistance services to the Government of South Africa to assist with the implementation of the “Programme to Support Pro-poor Policy Development (PSPPD) Phase II”.

The project will last 41 months and will be implemented with our consortium partners, the BFI Vocational Training Institute, MIET Africa, Khulisa Management Services, World Vision South Africa, and CARE Osterreich.

This project will build upon the achievements of Phrase I of PSPPD, by deepening and accelerating the incorporation of research and evidence into policy-making thereby making a contribution to poverty reduction in South Africa. We will focus on embedding evidence‑based policy making into the relevant institutions of Government.

Human Dynamics’ Executive Partner, Bernhard Hulla: “This is an important contract for Human Dynamics, not least because of the major impact that successful implementation will have on the lives of South Africans. The incorporation of evidence-based policy making is essential in achieving the Government of South Africa’s poverty reduction ambitions. We are looking forward to working with the South African Government and with our consortium partners in implementing this project over the coming years.”
