Cooperation between Austrian and Bulgarian Universities for a new business degree

14. July 2011

In September 2011, students can start a new bachelor’s degree at the European Technical University in Pernik, Bulgaria called "Business Administration and E-Business". The program was developed from the IMC University of applied science in Krems. Lectures will be given in English by staff of both participating universities. Aim of the new program is to give students the scientific, professionally oriented knowledge and skills they need for entering a profession as well as further educations. This is reached by an effective combination of business administration, management, e-business, legal and English skills and a comprehensive theoretical training together with a strong practical element.

The two universities signed the cooperation agreement during the visit of the Bulgarian delegation in Krems. The program will be supervised by Dr. Karl C. Ennsfellner on part of the IMC and assoc. prof. Borislav Borissov on part of EPU.

Graduates will receive two bachelor degrees, one of each participating academic institution. The new modern program will be of interest for a wide range of employers in business and administration.
