Austria goes North
The tight and ambitious two-days program in Copenhagen contained lectures about the characteristics of the Scandinavian food industry as well as Store-Checks with the possibility of B2B conversations. A product presentation with numerous purchasing agents and the Networking Event “Austrian Business Circle” at the central Copenhagen Hotel Kong Arthur completed the successful event. Especially the speech of Henrik Boserup, a known Danish chef with Austrian roots, made it an unforgettable afternoon.
In 2011, the exports of food and drinks increased about 50% to 56 Mio. EUR. This figure shows, that although Denmark is a relatively small market, there are plenty of great opportunities for Austrian products.
