Austrian Start-ups to spend 3 months in Cambridge

7. January 2013

Two very promising Austrian start-up ventures have been granted a three month stay at a British incubator centre in Cambridge. The stay is funded by the internationalisation initiative of the Austrian government.

Both companies, mybonus and P.Solutions, are IT start-ups looking to develop their business concepts to expand internationally. The United Kingdom is their starting point to create new partnerships abroad and join an international community offering business advice and support.

The two companies will temporarily set up a part of their office at the incubator which is part of the University of Cambridge Hauser Forum, a hub for early stage innovation, providing space and resources to a wide community of advisors, innovators and entrepreneurs.

The two companies will be arriving in Cambridge on 15th January 2013. Please do get in touch if wish to make contact via, we would be happy to introduce you!

Please read on for information about the start-ups' business concepts and don't forget to check out their excellent videos where they introduce their business concepts:

Video introduction:

Business concept:
mybonus is an app, which allows you to collect digital rewards “points” at retail stores (not introduced in UK yet). Instead of stamping on paper cards you get virtual “bonus stamps” by scanning a QR code on the cash desk of the provider. Shops can use the app to replace conventional loyalty cards.
