7. October 2014

Our next networking seminar takes place on 14th October in the Austrian Trade Commission, South Kensington and explores how buildings can be designed to save energy and offer a healthy and comfortable living environment.

The evening includes presentations from two specialists in the sustainable construction supply chain followed by the opportunity for networking and more in depth discussions over a glass of Austrian wine or beer.

"Healthy building: how material selection impacts occupant health" - Chris Dewhirst, Baumit UK

Variotherm have designed a versatile range of underfloor, wall and ceiling systems for heating and cooling focussing on energy efficiency and a stable and comfortable room environment. Baumit are specialists in the development of ecological building systems, including breathable fabrics and external wall insulation systems as well as a range of surface applications.

This seminar is suitable for architects, architectural technicians, designers, quantity surveyors, M&E engineers, housebuilders, contractors, installers and councils who are working on new build or refurbishment projects.
