Vienna is the most liveable city in the world

For the first time Vienna beats Melbourne in the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) annual survey!
In this year's edition of the Global Liveability Index 2018 , a total of 140 cities were ranked according to different factors, including education, crime, social and political stability and access to health care.
Melbourne had topped the rankings for seven years in a row but came second in this year’s evaluation. Following Vienna and Melbourne, Osaka in Japan, Calgary in Canada and Sydney made the top 5.
Damascus was ranked the least liveable city due to war, terrorism and civil unrest, followed by Dhaka and Lagos.
