Future Trends in Tourism

Technology is changing tourism – the industry has to adapt to the digital world to find new customers and to keep them entertained. 

A basic online-presence is not sufficient any more – potential guests use a variety of channels, access different content using different devices. This is a highly complex environment in which to compete for attention for specific content.

So what does the content in the digital age look like? What displays will visualize it? Are we going to experience the screenless web soon and what is deep learning and mixed reality?

What do these developments mean for hoteliers and other tourism-stakeholders? How can we keep attracting visitors from all over the world to Austria in relation to all these technological advances?

Advantage Austria Dublin and the Austrian National Tourist Office organise a trip to Dublin for a look into the future. This includes meetings and networking with experts from Irish and multinational companies to learn more about the latest trends and to explore the future of digital marketing.
