ENPULSION, the world's leading manufacturer of electric propulsion systems for nano- and microsatellites, is based in Wiener Neustadt and has a sales office in Boston, USA. The company was founded in 2016 as a spin-out from FOTEC, the research company of the Technical University of Vienna Neustadt.

Two products are currently being manufactured in the semi-automatic production facility: The IFM Nano Thruster and the more powerful IFM Micro Thruster. As of December 2019, 27 IFM Nano Thrusters are already in space and 100 propulsion solutions have been supplied to international customers.
