"Groszer Wein" has set itself the aim of bottling the unique terroir of Eisenberg in southern Burgenland and to vinify wines, embodying the aroma of their provenance, created for the modern wine lover who is open to new experiences. On the slopes of the Eisenberg the vines are on average twenty-five years of age, and have dug their roots deeply into the soil.

Matthias Krön acquired the former "Vinum Ferreum" in 2011 and, together with cellar master Markus Bach, has created eight new wines which convey traditional values to the eye and to the senses but which are nevertheless - or indeed - avant-garde.
