The Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank AG (OeEB) has been the Development Bank of the Republic of Austria since 2008 and is wholly owned by the Österreichische Kontrollbank AG.

The bank is a special institution that finances private investment projects in developing countries and emerging markets, provided that they make sense from both an economic and a development policy point of view. It also supports project-related programmes that achieve additional development effects.
