The Vienna Insurance Group recognised the opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) early and has become the region's leading insurer through its focused internationalisation strategy.
In the fiscal year 2014, the Vienna-based group achieved a premium income of 9.1 billion Euro: more than half of the premium income is now generated from the CEE region. The Vienna Insurance Group shares are listed on the stock exchanges in Vienna and Prague.

Over the last two decades, the Vienna Insurance Group has impressively developed from a purely Austrian insurance company to become an international corporation with more than 50 insurance companies in 25 countries and some 23,000 employees.
