Founded by the artist Michaela Frey in Vienna in 1951, the exclusive jewellery manufacturer FREYWILLE is now represented by its own boutiques in metropoles such as New York, London, Paris, Istanbul, Moscow, Beijing and Hongkong.
The precious enamelled jewellery - designed and created by the FREYWILLE artist team under the direction of artist Simone Grünberger-Wille - has thrilled jewellery lovers all over the world for many years. Inspiration and the most painstaking research, countless sketches and colour combinations are at the inception of each FREYWILLE collection. It can take up to 2 years from the first development steps to the completion of a jewellery collection.
Inspired by famous artists, cultural-historical epochs, emotions and values, the exclusive enamelled jewellery pieces convey a particular outlook on life. This is emphasised by the special radiance of the colours, in enamel: this effect is achieved by the "Feuerenamel" technique developed by the company.
The timeless jewellery pieces by FREYWILLE - a combination of artistically designed enamel with high-carat gold plating in elegant settings - are manufactured in 80 - 100 work steps in Vienna.
