Greater safety for motorcyclists
A perfectly functioning emergency services rescue chain is generally the deciding factor in an accident victim’s chances of survival. However, those involved in motorcycle accidents in particular are often so badly injured that they are unable to call an ambulance.
This is precisely where the new BikerSOS app comes in. Accidents are recognised automatically and the rescue chain is electronically alerted. Critically important data (such as blood group and any allergies from which the victim may suffer) are also immediately sent to the paramedics.
In addition to these unique and potentially life-saving functions, the app also boasts a range of other useful features. Before starting a trip on your motorcycle, you can set up a live-tracking link to send to family and friends, thus allowing the people you have chosen to see exactly where you are.
The app even has its uses after completion of your trip. The routes you have covered are automatically logged and can be reviewed at any time.
The app is free to download from the App Store or from Google Play.
