Fretello is a virtual guitar teacher, and the app makes professional guitar tuition available for all. Its features adapt to the student’s learning progress and provide individual feedback. Lots of people regret not having learnt a musical instrument when they were young. You can always sign up for professional tuition as an adult, of course, but it can often be difficult to fit lessons into an already quite stressful daily routine. The solution to the problem lies in virtual music tuition.
Fretello ’s new app allows people of any age, anywhere in the world, to take advantage of virtual instruction in learning to play the guitar. The progress schedules set out when you start can be adapted to individual needs and with regular practice, the app can recognise how you play and adapt to a player’s development.
Fretello will teach you how to read music and play scales, and it shows the chord shapes and fingering required for correct playing technique. No app can replace regular practice, of course, but Fretello’s positive reinforcement and constant feedback will help you achieve results more quickly as you learn to play.
The app’s two developers are both passionate guitarists themselves and the duo aim to become the leading platform for the digital music tuition of the future.
Based in Upper Austria and used around the world is the title chosen by the OÖ (Upper Austria) Export Center for the project it has launched in conjunction with the ‘Gründen’ online platform and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA to find the best international start-ups, and 21 of the hottest international start-ups from Upper Austria have been selected from all the applications to win awards.
