2019 Export Awards: Austria's best exporters 

The Austrian Export Prize for 2019 was awarded at the Exporters’ Nite on 24 June, a glamorous evening event that showcases Austria’s top exporters. The annual Export Prize recognises exceptional commitment and success among Austrian companies on international markets.

An assessment is made of companies’ export figures over the last few years, and prizes are awarded in six categories. There’s another chance to shine for companies who have achieved a strong position on the global market, built up a finely-tuned global network or carved out a reputation as an export pioneer – all examples of successful internationalization rewarded by the ‘Global Player Award’.

The ‘Expat Award’ meanwhile, is awarded to an individual – for example a managing director of an international subsidiary of an Austrian company – who has made a particularly valuable contribution to Austria’s foreign trade.

The new Global EcoVision Award recognises Austrian companies whose innovative technologies, products, and services make a lasting contribution to preserving the environment and protecting our Climate.

The 2019 winners in each category are:
