2nd European Headquarters Congress:
"Value Networks – The New Paradigm for Multinationals"
20–21 March 2014 in Vienna, Austria


Businesses are still feeling the effects of the global economic and financial crisis and companies are under intense pressure to generate growth while becoming more efficient. Against this challenging backdrop it is almost impossible for organisations to be dynamic and innovative.

The 2nd European Headquarters Congress “Value Networks”, to be held from 20th to 21st March 2014 in Vienna, will explore the issue of how companies can address the increasingly fierce pressure to innovate.

Corporate trailblazers and best-practice examples such as Unilever, SAP, IBM, McDonalds and Quintiles will discuss their approaches and solutions alongside international scientists such as Jeremy Rifkin, Harald Katzmair and Knut Koschatzky. Their strategy is based on the assumption that a “network” can be used to create value and drive innovation. Another key topic at the congress is how companies can establish such a network for value creation and innovation, as well as how to maintain it long term.

The Value Network Award is a congress highlight. The award, to be presented for the first time on the second day of the congress, will recognise international beacon projects which extend beyond classic value chains.

The event is targeted at management representatives, business agencies, international organisations and consultants.
