The premier class of fire service vehicles

Founded in 1886, Rosenbauer has enjoyed a reputation as the industry leader for fire firefighting and disaster management equipment for over 145 years. Rosenbauer is a full-range supplier of vehicles, fire extinguishing systems and equipment which are trusted by fire brigades all over the world.

Through its service and sales network, the company operates in over 100 countries and is a reliable partner for professional, company, factory and voluntary fire brigades.

The PANTHER ARFF vehicle is the premier class of airport crash tender and, with over 1,350 units sold, is by far the ARFF vehicle used most at international airports. In terms of acceleration, extinguishing power and design, the PANTHER surpasses anything seen before. It was the first fire engine in the world to be awarded numerous international prizes.

Rosenbauer succeeded in entering the Japanese market in 1994, shortly after the introduction of the PANTHER ARFF vehicle which caused a sensation in 1991. The company also uses local suppliers in Japan which are less affected than foreign manufacturers by the country’s strict guidelines governing public calls to tender and short project submission times.

After all, it is the long-term perspective of Rosenbauer and its Japanese agent, Teikoku Sen-I, as well as the ability to meet  their customers’ specific needs that reaps the rewards. Over the past 20 years, Rosenbauer has sold more than 50 emergency vehicles in Japan. In addition to the airports in Kansai, Narita, Memanbetsu, Fukushima, Obihiro, Kitakyushu, Kochi, Hachijojima, in the future the airports in Haneda, Fukuoka and Sendai will also be using vehicles from Rosenbauer.
