A rise of 0.4m more visitors are expected this year in Kenya following the lifted warnings against travel to the country 

Kenya expects an increament of tourists arrivals by a third to 1.6 million as western nations lift their travel advisories warnings and others simply downgrading such due to improved securities. These warnings had, in the recent past years maimed tourism which plays a vital role in earning foreing exchange for the country.The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) and the marketing agency say that at least an additional 400,000 international visitors are expected, building on last year's 1.18 million arrivals. The Tourism sector has seen a growth of 16.8 per cent in the first quater of 2016, revitalizing this sector that has been losing income in the past six years.
