2. December 2010

Celebrations are currently underway at Austrian high-tech provider LOYTEC electronics: they managed to pull in 2 top awards within the space of a week.

The annual business contest “Austria’s Leading Companies” saw LOYTEC electronics take one of the top places once again in 2010. Just a few days later there was another reason to celebrate: the company’s latest development, the LINX-121 Automation Server, won the firm the “Product of the Year” award. The international LonMark Organisation awards this title every year to new products which are especially innovative, solution-oriented and energy efficient.

The LINX-121 is the cream of the crop among LINX automation servers: it combines an array of functions in a user friendly way, which until now could only be time-consumingly configured with different individual components from different manufacturers. It also offers free programmability, integrated visualisation and the capability of linking up the most common open communication standards in building automation. By using this new generation of controller it is possible to raise a building’s energy efficiency performance even further.

Founded in 1997, the company has foreign offices in France, Germany and the USA and is one of Europe’s leading providers of intelligent network-infrastructure products in the building automation sector. The company has delivered to over 80 countries worldwide and exports account for around 99%. Major projects include the Reichstag building in Berlin, the “Oasis of the Sea” cruise ship, the headquarters of Ernst & Young in Sydney and the Dallas Cowboys Football Stadium.
