The overall objective is to make the travel experience more environmentally friendly, safer and more flexible by means of traffic telematics. The existing transport network should be used optimally and travellers enabled to find their best personal route by means of high-quality traffic information. The focus is on an objective comparison of different routes, means of transport and combinations.
ITS Vienna Region is interested in national and international know-how transfer, cooperations and relevant research projects.
