Austrian Wine Tasting @ Blaue Gans, NY

Willi Klinger, executive director of the Austria Wine Marketing Board (AWMB) and the Austrian Trade Commission in New York organized a very special wine tasting seminar and luncheon at the renowned ‘Blaue Gans’ restaurant.

The event was attended by select food and wine journalists, including Kim Marcus from the Wine Spectator and Howard G. Goldberg from the New York Times. In his entertaining, yet informative presentation, Willi Klinger talked about Austrian culture and especially praised the outstanding quality of Austrian food and wine.
According to Mr. Klinger, Austria stands out with its century-old culinary tradition, its authentic wines and its dynamic and innovative wine scene.
Though Austria’s wine export is still in its early stages, wine gourmets worldwide appreciate its outstanding quality and uniqueness.
