Print Power: Campaign for Print Media starts concurrently with Media Days

Launch in Austria on September 28 - 12 countries support Europe-wide initiative

Print Power is a unique European organization dedicated to promoting print media through focused marketing and advertising messages that communicate effectively. The organization comprises a wide range of companies representing the entire print media value chain: paper manufacturers and distributors, publishers, printers and others focused on the importance of print media. Print Power will be launched in Austria on September 28. This is the second part of the campaign which is planned to run three years. Last year a number of features pointing out the efficiency of print media ran with the slogan “I am the Power of Print.” This fall modified German-language slogans will appear primarily in trade publications.

“Print Power emphasizes the efficiency of print advertising. This includes not only newspapers and magazines, but also direct mailings, brochures, and other advertising media,” explains Michael Radax, President of Print Power Austria . “We are starting this year’s campaign with a presence at the (18th) Austrian Media Days (Sept. 27 – 29 in Vienna), in advertisements, direct mailings, online and various events.”

The campaign’s main target groups are advertising and marketing agencies.
