Austrian building technology stands for efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solutions for the buildings and cities of tomorrow. Austria was among the first countries in Europe to apply sustainable building technologies and the country now leads the world in the number of energy-efficient buildings per capita. Consequently, Austrian companies dealing with “green” technologies now contribute significantly to Austria’s GDP growth. Austria is known for its beautiful landscape and clear water, “sustainability” is lived and practiced every day and also affects the way we build our cities and buildings.

Sustainable development and economic growth are no longer a contradiction; they open new roads to profitability. Many of the proven Austrian energy-efficiency technologies also serve as valuable input on this side of the Atlantic. Austrian companies are looking for partnerships, especially in ecological building materials, recycled materials, prefabricated building parts, wood construction and architectural, engineering and energy consulting.

If you are interested in any of the above companies or would like to find out more about other Austrian companies in this industry, we would like to hear from you. Contact us at or visit our website at .
