Around 1,750 farmers, mainly from southern Upper Austria, supply Gmundner Molkerei with the best raw milk. Gmundner Molkerei is one of the key players in the Austrian dairy industry today.
High-tech production facilities and the highest quality standards are the foundations for the company's success. Highest awards at international cheese competitions testify to the first-class product quality.
The following product groups are produced at the Gmunden site:
Fresh milk, ESL milk, long-life milk, long-life dairy products, butter, L-free products, pasta filata and semi-hard cheese.
Approx. 334 million kg of milk are processed annually and about 50% of the products are exported.
