As the largest technical apprentice trainer, ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG employs over 1,800 apprentices in 20 apprenticeship occupations. ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG ensures punctuality, safety, cleanliness and open access to the rail system – the prerequisites for efficient and reliable passenger and freight transport.

The company currently generates electricity to power its trains, stations and operational facilities from renewable energy sources: hydropower, solar and wind energy. ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG provides customer-specific infrastructure services for the mobility, logistics and real estate sectors as well as state-of-the-art railway technology. More than three billion euros are invested in the rail network every year.
