From Silicon Alps to Silicon Island
Given the global shortage in the semiconductor industry, it’s important position in the supply chain and the efforts of highly developed economies like Japan and Austria/the EU to prop up the respective domestic semiconductor industry, Advantage Austria Tokyo together with the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, METI, are organizing a first virtual cooperation dialogue in this industry.
Supported and focused on the semiconductor clusters Silicon Alps (Austria) and Silicon Island Kyushu (SIIQ) we are starting a two year program to explore technology and applied research cooperation opportunities.
Speakers at this event will not only present the respective cluster activities but also up-to-date research topics from front end to back end processing technologies.
