Vienna, one of Europe’s leading startup hubs, will once again host the international startup festival ViennaUP in 2026.

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Tokyo (Austrian Embassy Commercial Section) will organize the “ViennaUP’26 TOUR” for Japanese startups and ecosystem stakeholders.

ViennaUP brings together international investors, founders, and partners across themes such as smart city, impact, life sciences, creative industries, and fintech. Events take place throughout the city—from city halls and public squares to cafés and creative spaces - creating a unique, city‑wide festival experience. Participants can access diverse sessions and connect with experts simply by being in the city.

During the tour, Rumi Onodera, Head of Innovation & Technology at ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Tokyo, will guide participants and recommend relevant programs based on individual objectives.

This tour offers direct exposure to one of Central and Eastern Europe’s most dynamic startup ecosystems.
