Around 30 women from business, science, art and politics were invited to the kick-off event of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Tokyo, which was held in brand new Red Bull Tokyo office in Roppongi.
Ms. Christina Schösser, Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy, opened the networking event together with the Austrian Ambassador to Japan, Ms. Elisabeth Bertagnoli, Ms. Kumiko Yuki, Member of the Minato Ward Assembly, and Ms. Marika Gasteiger, Managing Director of Anton Paar Japan.
Over Austrian wine, Red Bull and finger food, the participants shared their personal experiences of doing business in Japan, Austria and around the world. During the lively discussions, many commonalities - both positive and negative - were discovered and discussed, and best practices were shared. ADVANTAGA AUSTRIA Tokyo has created a platform where interested women can exchange ideas in an honest and open way, supporting and motivating each other.
