With two meters of snow, perfectly groomed slopes, and bright sunshine, 45 enthusiastic ski and snowboard racers took on the challenge, delivering an exciting competition.
This year’s event saw strong participation from the Swiss, Belgian-Luxembourg, British, Dutch, Swedish, and Spanish Chambers of Commerce, making it a truly international gathering. Off the racecourse, Austrian innovation and products were well represented, with an access system by SKIDATA, Austrian skis and boots in the rental area, and refreshments including Red Bull and Austrian wine.
The evening celebration was a highlight, with 100 attendees enjoying a lively awards ceremony. Mayor Gaku Hirasawa, a former Olympic alpine skier, congratulated all participants, lasting memories, and inspiring words.
The InterChamber Ski Event continues to grow each year, establishing itself as a key winter sports event for the international business community in Japan. Looking ahead, the 10th anniversary edition in 2026 promises to be bigger than ever. Until then, the Austrian Business Community will next meet in Osaka – on the Road to EXPO!
