Many award ceremonies have a set date in the calendar, and the Austrian Export Prizes are no exception – the event is traditionally held in June. The time came round again on 02.06.2025, when ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA extended an invitation to Exporters’ Nite in the Aula of Sciences in Vienna for an evening that shone a spotlight on Austria’s export economy.
Austria’s economy has close ties with research and innovation, and the location for this year’s event highlighted these links, providing a festive setting as the Austrian companies who have achieved the greatest international success took to the stage.
Export Prizes are awarded in gold, silver and bronze in six categories. Assessment is based on a firm’s efforts and success on international markets in addition to the value that is created internationally as a result.
A special prize was awarded again this year: the Global Player Award goes to a firm that through its dedication and achievements has carved out a strong niche on the world’s markets, built a good international network, and can be held up as an example to all.
The prize-winning firms were selected by an independent jury drawn from the worlds of commerce, politics and the media.
