During the economic mission, representatives of leading Austrian companies held meetings with government agencies and key players in the region's tourism industry. The primary focus was on cooperation prospects in developing ski and sports infrastructure, as well as investment opportunities.
Special emphasis was placed on modernizing existing facilities and creating new resorts capable of attracting international tourists such as the Almaty Mountain Cluster. Austrian companies had a unique opportunities to gain deeper insights into the region’s potential, exchange experience, and establish connections with key market players.
